Finalize Your Syllabi With Eidolon Course Packets

Happy September! The semester is off to an energetic start, and with it, our course packet pilot program. After an enthusiastic response to our announcement in May, we’re now thrilled to announce that course packets will be available for purchase in January 2020.

We know that some of you like to plan ahead (what’s that like? Sounds so non-stressful), so we’re sharing everything you need to know about these resources now so that you can figure out how best to incorporate them into your 2020 syllabi/syllabuses/syllabūs/syllaboi.

After an excellent response to the Greek and Roman Civilization packets that we offered in the Fall (Thanks, pilot program participants!), we’re offering even more in 2020. We selected pieces based on instructor feedback: which articles teachers are teaching, which seem most pedagogically valuable, and which pieces teachers want to see. We curated each course packet from our catalog of over 500 articles.

The main feedback we’re getting from the pilot program is that instructors want to create their own custom course packets to fit their classes. So, for the Spring, we’re offering custom course packets. Create your own! DIY! Collect them all!

How much will these Wonder Ba — I mean, course packets cost?

$9 each. The price of one (1) Chipotle burrito without guac. All pre-made packets are $9/download; and custom packets start at $9, with additional articles for a dollar each. Pre-made packets will be available for purchase and digital download starting January 1, 2020 on our online store.

Custom course packets can be ordered as early as right now and will be ready for download by January. Since custom orders can take up to a month to process, make sure you order those at least four to six weeks before you need them. What if I don’t want to create a custom packet?
